His Early Life
MS Dhoni was born on 7 July 1981 in Ranchi to Pan Singh and Devaki Devi. He completed his schooling at DAV Jawahar Vidya Mandir, where he played football as a goalkeeper. When his coach, Keshav Banerjee, suggested him, he switched to cricket and found his passion in it. After schooling, Dhoni worked as TTE (Travelling Ticket Examiner) in Kharagpur Railway Station from 2001 to 2003.
Early Cricket Career
MS Dhoni Started cricket career in the Commando Cricket Club and Central CoalFields Limited team in 1995 as a wicketkeeper. Dhoni debuted in the 1999-2000 Ranji Trophy. Journey Of International Cricket Career

Debut
MS Dhoni performed well in the India A squad, so selectors later chose him for the 2004 Bangladesh tour, where he made his debut. T20 & Captaincy (2007 )
MS Dhoni scored over 100 in all matches against West Indies and Sri Lanka in 2007 and helped the Indian team defeat them. Later, in September 2007, Dhoni was appointed captain for the World Twenty20, where he led India to win the tournament.
World Cup Win (2011)

In 2011, Dhoni led India to a World Cup victory against Sri Lanka, and he became the man of the match with unbeaten 91 runs. Test Retirement (2015)
Dhoni played his last series in 20014 during India’s tour of Australia (two tour matches and four test matches). After the third test match, MS Dhoni announced his retirement from the test format. In his last test match, the former CSK captain made nine dismissals (eight catches and a stumping).

Mahendra Singh Dhoni led India to victory in the 2016 Asia Cup, after which he left captaincy. In August 2017, in Colombo against Sri Lanka, Dhoni became the first wicketkeeper to achieve 100 stumpings in ODIs when he stumped Akila Dananjaya off Yuzvendra Chahal.
On 9 July 20019, MS Dhoni played his 350th and final ODI in the World Cup semi-final against New Zealand. After this, Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket on 15 August 2020.
